Based in North Yorkshire, Biker Contracts have successfully built up an excellent reputation for Bespoke and Traditional Joinery. The company was founded on the principle of always putting quality and customers first and undertakes a large proportion of its work in Harrogate, York, the Yorkshire Dales and across the North East of England. We combine experienced master craftsmen with the very latest in modern technology and machinery to produce a product, which is of the highest quality and durability.
Products / Services
Our team of joiners have experience of fitting our products in every kind of property from schools to castles and ambulance stations to hotels in North Yorkshire and throughout the North East. Our areas of expertise include:
- Windows - All types of wooden windows including: Sliding sash, casement, fixed light (vented), bespoke windows & traditional windows
- Doors - Oak doors, hardwood external doors, internal, folding, sliding in any style
- Staircases - Traditional, contemporary, (also trade staircases in sw or mdf)
- Architectural - Conservatories, porches, shop fronts, glazed screens, gazebo’s, balconies, cupboards & wardrobes, vanity units panelling, gates, skirting & architraves
- Timber Frames – We produce & erect timber-framed buildings to our design and customer’s own design. Again, these are produced in a variety of timber to the highest quality, are cost effective and comply with all relevant regulations & standards.
Workshop / Manufacture
All joinery items are made to measure and are constructed of quality hardwoods and softwoods through to mdf components for some trade products. All timber is treated to protect against rot & fungal decay. Items can be glazed in a variety of glazing components and can also be fully decorated in our paint shop. We can also provide and fit the widest range of hardware and door furniture to give your order the individuality and finish that you require.
Our in house team can design, manufacture and install all of the above items and would be delighted to discuss your specific requirements.
Wood is the most environmentally friendly building material as it is renewable and is being incorporated more & more in modern building techniques, we ensure that the timber used is from sustainable renewable resources. From an aesthetical & conservational point of view there is simply no comparison between timber products & UPVC systems. Timber products can also last longer, but they can easily be repaired; whereas UPVC cannot and has difficulties in the disposal.
